My mother is very innovative when it comes to preparation of snacks.. She makes varieties of snacks and salads in her own creative ways and it really tastes awesome… 🙂 One such snack variety she makes is using kadalepuri or Puffed rice.. Once I got a pack of kadalepuri (which stated spicy puri) but nothing spicy in that.. So she made the below recipe using the same..
Ingredients needed are ::
Kadalepuri or Puffed rice or Murmura- 250 grams
Ground nuts – 1 fist or 1/2 cup
Refined oil – 3 tbspns
Onion – 1 big chopped
Pudina chutney if already there at home or
make a paste of pudina, green chillies(4 or 5), Shunti or ginger – 1″ piece, Dhaniya or coriander leaves, tamarind and little jaggery/bella
Salt – 1.5 tspns
 In a pan, add refined oil, groundnuts, onion and fry well until onion changes well..
 Now add Kadalepuri, pudina chutney, salt and fry well..
 Serve immediately as the kadalepuri might turn sullen or very soft.. To keep it crispy fry well and serve immediately..
